For building wireless amplifiers, you must have a usable signal without an external antenna (1 to 2 bars) that allows you to make and receive phone calls within 50' of your building. If you do not have enough signal to support a wireless amplifier, consider using a direct-connect amplifier that is directly connected to your phone via an adapter for the maximum gain possible. For single band building amplifiers, you need to determine what frequencies are being used by your cellular provider in your area. To do this, CLICK HERE to go to the Wireless Advisor site and then enter your zipcode. The site will show the frequencies that are licensed by each cellular provider within the county.

If your cellular provider is transmitting on both 800MHz and 1900MHz, select a wireless amplifier system for the 800MHz band for best performance.
